Job Description
Profile:- Manager Engineering is primary responsible for functioning of Engineering Department. He is responsible for product Engineering, process engineering, machine and tooling maintenance. He is also responsible for ensuring improvements in project profitability, deployment of investments for plant and projects within the limitation of budget with in stipulated time frame. He has to develop and maintain a strong production process systems in GA Pune. His activities will be governed by following key performance indices: § Improvement in project profitability § First sample validation Index § Tool and machinery Breakdown Index. § Cost of Maintenance. He also will be responsible for: * Drawings, specifications of the affected product at the latest engineering level, available in the points of use. * Process Diagram (Manufacturing-Control Synoptic) according to the process flow and updated at the latest level. * Process Layout documentation in concordance with it. * Process F.M.E.A. issue and its correspondence with drawings, specs, control plan, process instructions. * Updating FMEA documents in case of serial process/ product changes. * Control Plan performed according to the system described in the procedure in force and in concordance with the Process F.M.E.A. * Control Plan issue and its correspondence with drawings, specs, process F.M.E.A... * To generate documents to support the process. * Training of the employees who participate in the process and recorded evidence of their training and multi skilling abilities. * To carry out time and motion study, man machine method study and to analyse possible areas of improvement. To record the findings in SWCT charts.
